Reports have it that Michael Emerson will play the role of a weird rich man, in a new pilot project that will be produced by J.J Abrams, the creator of Lost.

Emerson, who stared in Lost, will be the lead actor in the new CBS pilot Person of Interest. He has featured in some TV series since the conclusion of Lost a year ago.

In the new Pilot, Emerson will be working with a former CIA agent to check vicious felony in New York City. Pilot Person of Interest is written by Jonah Nolan, the creator of The Dark Knight.

Person of Interest may be the new CBS TV series for the forthcoming television season.
