The remaining island survivors are left in 1974, when the time jumps have finally ended. They join the Dharma Initiative after rescuing one of their members, Amy, from the Others.

After living with them for three years, Sawyer is head of security, and Juliet helps Amy, who needed an obstetrician to give birth to her child in breech position, give birth normally. Meanwhile, Sawyer assures Horace that it is possible to get over someone, for at the back of his mind he means that he has gotten over Kate, and he and Juliet express their love for each other. The next morning, Sawyer’s awakened by a phone call from Jin. He meets Jin in the north valley where he sees Hurley, Jack and finally Kate step out of the Dharma van.
