Season 4
Originally scheduled to have 16 episodes in Lost Season 4 commencing January 31 2008, the series ended up having only 14 of them, thanks to the unforeseen strike by the Writers Guild of America. The series concluded on May 29 2008, airing both in the US as well as in Canada.

Eight of the episodes were filmed and aired prior to the strike, while the rest of the six episodes were filmed and aired, after the strike. The fourth season primarily dealt with the ordeal of the survivors in dealing with the people that arrived from the freighter, Kahana, which happened to have come to the island. The series also showcases the escape of the Oceanic Six, whose activities and misdemeanors, after their stint on the island, are shown in the form of flash forwards.
