A very recent series of Lost, it debuted on January 21, 2009, with a three-hour long premiere along with two new episodes, featured back-to-back. The season is scheduled to air across US and Canada at 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Central time, through the course of its entire duration, which is expected to be till May 13 2009.

The focus of the series would be the need for those on the island who left it, to return back to it. The big reason for such a need to crop up is something that the producers of the series remain tightlipped about. One other revelation from the producers about the series is that it would feature much lesser flash forwards and flashbacks than the earlier series.
